07/05/2010 - Conservative Wins across Northamptonshire

The Northampton North seat has been won by Michael Ellis, Conservative after a closley faught campaign between all three major parties. Liberal Democrat Andrew Simpson was forced into third place by Labours Sally Keeble who had held the seat for 13 years. Only 451 seperated 2nd and 3rd place.
All seven seats in Northamptonshire are now held by the Conservative party
