18/01/2010 - Free Pop Video Offer for Young Bands
THE FILM LAB is offering to make a free pop video for any young band.
All the band needs is, to be under 20 (or have members 19 or under) and have a decent demo recording of their track they want to promote. We will provide the director, and do the rest. They will assign an experienced director/artist to each band to work with to design, plan and shoot their vid over the coming months. All work will be premiered at THE FILM LAB screenings, then each band will get a completed video to use for marketing and promo purpose, which will help them stand out from the crowd.
The idea is to encourage young local musicians to think a bit more about marketing and promotion and to help them by providing materials.
