07/11/2009 - Co-op store closed for major refurbishment

The very popular Wellingborough Road Co-op store will re-open on Thursday morning 12th November after completion of a major update.  An industry insider commented, 'The Co-op are very switched on with their refurbishment programmes.  It is highly likely that the store will  re-open as scheduled.

Some bewildered customers were seen to be trying to enter the store despite the presence of a large team of very busy shop fitting workers dressed in high visablity jackets and hard hats. No stock and no shelving provided additional clues to the fact that the shop is shut.

It's really good to have this significant investment being made on the Wellingborough Road.
