16/09/2009 - Another parking price rise for Commuters

The cost to park at Northampton Railway Station has risen to £7.00 from today. The 50 pence per day increase has been defended by London Midland as being necessary to help fund more new car parking spaces in the future. The increase is part of a pricing restructure which includes reduced rates for off peak parking, discounts for sporadic but frequent users and special rates for drivers of hybrid cars.  If you have an electric car you can park free of charge!
