Friends of Abington Park

The Friends of Abington park is a small group of volunteers who meet once a month to formulate action plans for the Park. Some of the work we do is 'hands on'
for example clearing rubbish and weeding. We have also succesfully secured the funding for the fitness equipment and the fantastic new childrens play equipment.

There is also a gardnening group, our very own nature expert and even a couple of local historians.

Naturally it would be great to have as many members as possible join the friends.

New members are always welcome and soon there will be a family and junior membership
scheme to help the next generation become involved in the future of their park.
