Photography Competition for all.
MYABINGTON has joined with The Friends of Abington Park and Scott Dennis Photography to hold a photography competition. The theme of the competition is; A celebration of life in Abington and our wonderful park.
Selected participants will we have the opportunity to see their work exhibited at the Abington Park Museum in a exhibition of work chosen by the judges. There will also be an exhibition of work from local professional photographers and even a category for pictures taken on your mobile phone. Young and old, professional amateur are welcome to enter.
To enter, simply email your photo's to events@myabington.co.uk no later than Sunday 8 August 2010. Your photo's can be of any subject as long as it features or was taken in the local area. Please state which category you are entering and provide us with contact details.

Another parking price rise for Commuters
The cost tp park at Northampton Railway Station has risen to £7 from 16th September. The 50 pence per day increase has been defended by London Midland as being necessary to help fund more car parking spaces in the future.
